{"id":4784,"date":"2019-06-05T21:55:54","date_gmt":"2019-06-05T11:55:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.celestialtaichi.com.au\/?p=4784"},"modified":"2019-06-10T06:33:15","modified_gmt":"2019-06-09T20:33:15","slug":"2019-04-six-healing-sounds-qigong-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wrcsites.com.au\/ctc\/2019-04-six-healing-sounds-qigong-workshop\/","title":{"rendered":"2019 Six Healing Sounds Qigong Workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Celestial Tai Chi College is delighted to continue with Qigong workshops on Saturday 6 April, teaching one of the four major Qigong forms, recognised by the Chinese Health Qigong Association, Six Healing Sounds Qigong (Li\u00f9 z\u00ec ju\u00e9 q\u00ecg\u014dng) or Six Word Formula.<\/p>\n<p>You can join in even if you haven\u2019t done the previous forms as they are not connected, but independently taught.<\/p>\n<p>Six Healing Sounds Qigong is a sophisticated and challenging way of coordinating movement, breathing and sound, developed over centuries and based on traditional Chinese medicine. Such a combination of sound, breath and movement makes it particularly beneficial and hence attractive to learners.<br \/>\nGrand Master Eng Chor and Master Tong Low will teach us how to move the body and breathe in a particular way whilst producing specific sounds that stimulate the energy &#8211; Qi.  <\/p>\n<p>The sounds (written in pinyin as Xu, He, Hu, Si, Chui and Xi), vibrating through the body are meant to help us achieve emotional and physical balance, stimulate flexibility and leave us stress free.
