When he arrived at the school he was given an audience by the teacher.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat do you wish from me?\u201d\u00a0 The master asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wish to be your student and become the finest martial artist in the land.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 The boy replied.\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cHow long must I study?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTen years at least\u201d, the master answered.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTen years is a long time,\u201d said the boy.\u00a0 \u201cWhat if I studied twice as hard as all your students?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTwenty years,\u201d replied the master.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTwenty years!\u00a0 What if I practice day and night with all my effort?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThirty years,\u201d was the master\u2019s reply.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow is it that each time I say I will work harder, you tell me that it will take longer?\u201d\u00a0 The boy asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe answer is clear.\u00a0 When one eye is on the destination, there is only one eye left with which to find the Way.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A young boy travelled across the land to the school of a famous martial artist.
