{"id":2738,"date":"2017-01-09T05:53:00","date_gmt":"2017-01-09T05:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.celestialtaichi.com.au\/?p=2738"},"modified":"2017-02-06T14:41:51","modified_gmt":"2017-02-06T04:41:51","slug":"2738","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wrcsites.com.au\/ctc\/2738\/","title":{"rendered":"Celestial at Moonee Valley festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Celestial Tai Chi College <strong>Senior Instructor <a href=\"http:\/\/www.celestialtaichi.com.au\/team-view\/margie-brett\/\">Margie Brett <\/a><\/strong>once again led a program of demonstrations at the annual Moonee Valley Festival held in Queen&#8217;s Park, Moonee Ponds in February. She has attended and performed at the Moonee Valley Festival for more than 18 years. &#8220;This is a very large local festival that always attracts big crowds throughout the day.\u00a0 It\u2019s really about the importance of being a part of the local community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.celestialtaichi.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/1312-MooneeV-20px.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><strong>Each year Instructors from Moonee Ponds perform at the festiva<\/strong>l &#8211; so at the latest event, Margie, Dave, Doreen, Wayne and Joy gave a demonstration of qigong exercises, tai chi levels 1 and 2, and the fan routine.<\/p>\n<p>For the remainder of the day, we were at our artistically decorated Celestial Tai Chi College stall, chatting to people about the many benefits of qigong and tai chi.\u00a0 A large number of people spoke with us this year, and we hope that many will be inspired to join us.<\/p>\n<p>It is a beautiful setting in Queen&#8217;s Park, by the lake with water fountain and swans, and we always enjoy the opportunity to promote tai chi, and our College, at this annual event.\u00a0 Thanks to all other members from Moonee Ponds who supported us on that day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.celestialtaichi.com.au\/team-view\/margie-brett\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Margie Brett<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nSenior Instructor<br \/>\n<span id=\"cloak73139\"><a href=\"mailto:margaret.taichi@gmail.com\">margaret.taichi@gmail.com<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Celestial Tai Chi College Senior Instructor Margie Brett once again led a program of demonstrations at the annual Moonee Valley Festival held in Queen&#8217;s Park, Moonee Ponds in February.
